Associational Missions
Thank you for visiting the Associational Missions Ministries of the Georgia Baptist Convention. We are here to help you, your church, and your association as you reach out to your community, country, and world. By furnishing the Baptist churches in Georgia a medium of cooperation in their tasks of witness, discipleship, new work, ministry, and missions, lives are being touched and changed for Jesus Christ. Please discover how we can assist you.

OUR PURPOSE

Support Services
By request, the Associational Missions Specialist will visit with Associational Missionaries for consultation and discussion on associational work and matters. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact our office.

Referral Service
Help is available for associations looking for Associational Missionaries. Our office receives resumes of prospective Associational Missionaries and makes them available to associations searching for new Associational Missionaries. If you would like to present your name to search committees or if your association would like our assistance, please contact our office.

Area Advisory Committees
Each spring, each Area Advisory Committee meets with their area program for a business session and luncheon. These meetings enhance cooperation with the GBC, Area Advisory Committees, and associational leadership.

"MECS": Missionary Emergency Communication System
This communication system is used to contact Associational Missionaries in case of emergencies for prayer and support response. Communication takes place primarily through e-mail. If you have questions about this special service, please call 770.936.5219.

Associational Strategy Planning
Approved GBC staff and consultants will lead a long range planning process tailored to help determine, resource, and meet the unique needs of each association. Contact Associational Missions Ministries for details.
